The Housing Authority of Fulton County (HAFC) announces the following upcoming landlord briefing sessions:

Landlords are encouraged to plan accordingly and attend a session.

Landlord Update: NSPIRE Inspection Requirements
The Housing Authority of Fulton County (HAFC) reminds all Housing Choice Voucher property owners and landlords to maintain their units in compliance with applicable HUD inspection standards. The NSPIRE inspection process focuses on housing safety, sanitation, and physical conditions.
Landlords should prepare their properties for inspections, address potential health and safety hazards, and correct deficiencies within the required timeframes. Failure to make required repairs may affect Housing Assistance Payments (HAP).

HOTMA Changes to Income, Assets, Deductions, and Interim Reexaminations
The Housing Authority of Fulton County (HAFC) is implementing updated federal requirements under the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA). These changes affect how household income and assets are evaluated, which deductions may apply, and how interim reexaminations are handled.
Housing Choice Voucher participants should review the updated requirements, report household changes as required, and submit all requested documentation by the specified deadlines.

Project-Based Waitlist Opening – October 5 – 9, 2026
The Housing Authority of Fulton County (HAFC) will accept online pre-applications for its Project-Based Waitlist from October 5 at 10:00 AM through October 9 at 4:00 PM.
The opening is for two-bedroom units only at select Senior (62+) and Near-Elderly (55+) communities. Applicants will be selected through a lottery-style process.

Appointments and caseworker services will resume:

Please note that our offices will remain open; however, housing specialists will be unavailable to provide assistance during this time. Visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly and schedule their visits based on their respective housing specialist’s availability.
