Affordable Housing Development
The HAFC is currently developing properties in unincorporated Fulton County to increase affordable housing availability for both single and multi-family units for rental and resident ownership.
The Housing Authority of Fulton County relies on its many private sector partners to accomplish its mission. These include developers and other financial partners with vision who seek revenue bonds to create new affordable and mixed-income housing communities, including:
- Real Estate Developers
- Real Estate brokers and agents
- Mortgage companies for primary and secondary housing markets
- Financial Institutions
One of the main ways the HAFC creates new development is through its state-mandated power to issue tax-free revenue bonds and tax credits for housing developments that meet specific criteria.
